The Raminfard School of Arts Story

Where Art and Community Thrive!

Daniel’s Art Studio | Circa 2005

The Raminfard School of Arts (RSA) began as a passion project in the garage of founder Daniel Raminfard’s father in West Los Angeles. In 2000, Daniel set out to create a space where aspiring artists of all levels could learn the timeless techniques of fine art in a supportive and inspiring environment.

With a deep love for classical drawing and painting, Daniel started by teaching a handful of students, focusing on traditional methods, strong fundamentals, and artistic confidence. As word spread, RSA grew steadily, evolving from a small garage studio into a thriving art school where hundreds of students have honed their skills.

In 2003, Daniel moved his studio out of his father’s garage and into the back space of a dance studio in West LA, all while working full-time as a banker to support his artistic vision. Despite the challenges of balancing two careers, his commitment to teaching art never wavered.

In 2008, following the biggest banking crisis since the Great Depression, Daniel took a bold leap—leaving the corporate world behind to open a full-time art studio in West LA. This pivotal moment allowed RSA to flourish, attracting a growing community of dedicated students.

Then, in 2020, after the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, RSA found a new home in Agoura Hills, where it continues to thrive today.
