What types of art classes do you offer?

We offer group and private art classes in Acrylic Painting, Oil Painting, Watercolor, Graphite Drawing, Charcoal, Colored Pencils, and Pastels. Each student selects their preferred medium and receives personalized guidance in a supportive studio setting.

Which class is best for me?

Our group art classes are perfect for beginners and advanced students aged nine and up. Each class is customized to your experience level and artistic goals, and flexible scheduling allows you to mix and match classes to fit your availability.

Do you teach kids under 9?

Yes! Younger children (ages 4-9) benefit most from private art lessons, where they receive one-on-one instructions suited to their learning pace. Our kids’ art classes range from 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Can you help me create an art portfolio?

Absolutely! We specialize in art portfolio development, helping students build a strong portfolio for art school applications, competitions, or personal growth. Whether you need help with drawing, painting, or composition, we’ll guide you every step of the way.

What happens if I miss a class?

Because our class sizes are limited, we require at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. Same-day cancellations or no-shows (except for emergencies) are counted as attended.

Where is your art studio located? Is there parking?

Our art studio is located in Agoura Hills, and we serve students from Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Oak Park, Calabasas, and beyond. For your convenience, we offer free outdoor parking directly beneath our studio.

What art supplies do I need?

First-time students don’t need any supplies!

• We provide basic drawing materials, but we highly recommend purchasing a drawing kit for practice between sessions.
• Once you’re ready to start painting, you can buy a painting kit at our studio.
• Need supplies for the day? Sample art kits are available for rent at $12.50 per session.

Are private art lessons better than group classes?

It depends on your learning style! Private art lessons offer personalized instruction and flexible pacing, while group classes provide a collaborative learning environment and peer support. Both options are great for beginners and experienced artists.

Do you offer online art classes?

Yes! We offer live virtual art classes and private mentorship via Zoom, WhatsApp, or FaceTime. We also host online paint parties, perfect for friends, couples, or family members.

How do I cancel or reschedule a class?

To cancel or reschedule a class, please call us or cancel online at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows (except for emergencies) will be charged as an attended session and are non-refundable.

Which art mediums do you teach in private lessons?

We teach Pencil, Acrylic Painting, Watercolors, Oils, Charcoal, and Pastels. Drawing is the foundation of painting, so we encourage students to start with pencil or charcoal before moving to paint.
