See What Our Students Have Made

Every piece on this page was made by an RSA student, and many of them walked in unsure they could draw at all. They learned step by step: how to really see what’s in front of them, how to build a strong drawing, and how to develop a painting from start to finish. No experience is needed, and no one is judged for where they start.

Since 2000, Raminfard School of Arts has taught more than 7,500 students and earned 150+ five-star reviews. Our Agoura Hills studio offers classes for adults, teens, and kids, from complete beginners to advanced artists. We serve Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Calabasas, and the rest of the Conejo Valley.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need drawing experience to join?
No. Many of the students whose work appears here started as complete beginners. Classes are taught step by step, and every student works at their own level.

Who are the classes for?
Adults, teens, and kids. Group classes start around age 8 or 9, depending on whether a child is ready for a two-hour lesson. Students range from beginners to advanced artists, and most are adults.

What will I learn?
Drawing and painting in charcoal, graphite, oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel, and colored pencil. Students learn to observe carefully and build a strong drawing before moving into color.

Are supplies included?
Drawing supplies are provided at no charge in class. For painting, you can buy or rent a kit in watercolor, gouache, oil, or acrylic.
