GROUP ART LESSONS
Open to Teens and Adults
COVID-19 UPDATE: For the safety of you, and our staff, we are limiting our classes sizes to 8 students per session by appointment only! We are giving everybody lots of room, and renewing our focus on one‑on‑one, personalized service. We are also taking citywide mandated precautions. Face coverings will be required for all of our staff and customers, and we will provide them to customers who don’t bring their own. Throughout the day, we’re conducting enhanced deep cleanings that place special emphasis on all surfaces and other highly trafficked areas. Our intent is to keep as clean a sterile environment as possible, so that you can focus on learning and growing as an artist.
Our 2-hour fine art classes are available during the week with convenient morning, afternoon, and evening sessions for you to choose from. For best results, we recommend visiting 2-3 times a week. Seating and availability is limited. *Our Cancellation Policy is as follows: If for any reason you cannot make your appointment please call us with in 24 hours to reschedule. Unless there is serious emergency, last minute cancellations and no-shows count as one session taken and will not be refunded.
What kind of group classes do you offer?
We teach students to work with Pencils, Acrylics, Oil, Charcoal, & Pastels. These are the best mediums to both learn and create in – starting with pencils or charcoal. The foundation of painting is drawing, so that’s the natural beginning of our instruction.
Which class is best for me?
All our group art classes are the same. They are designed for students over age 10. Though taught in a group, each student works on an individual project in the medium of their choice based on their skill level and goals. Students can mix and match classes to fit their schedules.
Okay. What if the best day for me is Friday or Monday?
These days are reserved for private art lessons and events, but you’re in luck! We’ll be offering our group fine art classes on Mondays soon. Subscribe to our newsletter for the most up-to-date information.
What about kids?
It’s our experience that kids under the age of 10 learn best in a one-on-one setting, so we recommend private art lessons for our younger students. You can learn more about our private painting and drawing classes here.
What supplies do I need?
No supplies are needed for the first class.
After that, we provide students with limited drawing materials, but it is strongly recommended you purchase one of our drawing kits so you can practice in between your studio sessions. Buy your drawing kit here.
Once students have an understanding of drawing and want to begin painting, they will need a painting kit. Purchase your painting kit here or rent our sample kit for $12.50 per 2-hour lesson. If for any reason you cannot make your appointment please call us with in 24 hours.
